Cargo Airport

As the Dallas area continues to develop into the nation's premier inland distribution hub, the volume of trade flowing through the area and the projected population increases will require the addition of a cargo airport in the southern part of Dallas County. The Metroplex population is projected to grow to 9.1 million by 2030 in the urban region. A cargo airport will further enhance Dallas' position at a crossroads of international trade with goods moving inland from the west coast up to the densly populated northeast.
